It brings back really bad memories creating this part of the gallery.

subframe snapped in three places! That section with the four bolts on it that sits just forward of the piece I have pulled up has a reinforced brace that the bolts go through probably the reason it's a complete piece by itself and broke on either side.

Ouch! Ok the place I had fix this which I will show in the rebuilding section said he's seen several R1s come in with this same break at the same weld. This is not supposed to break like this right through the weld, ask any good welder and they'll tell you if the weld is good if it breaks it will break on either side of it but not right through the middle of it....oh well couldn't prove one way or the other if the weld broke prior to the crash possibly causing it or if it broke during. I found out after already having it fixed I could've had the welder check the temper of the metal with a file at the weld to see if it was a good weld or not...live and learn I guess.

I'm surprised the forks weren't completely bent up looking at the front wheel.

What do ya know there's one piece of plastic I don't have to replace, front fender survived unscaved. Can't say that about any other cosmetic piece lol.

Never thought I'd be looking at my bike in this condition. I wish I had a video of the crash to see exactly what happened and at what point the bike flipped to grind down the ignition and tank the way it did..lol..and how close it came to flipping onto me as I slid and rolled beside it.
